White Bean Hummus with Fresh Thyme and Basil

Ingredients
  • 1 15oz can cannellini beans
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 2½-3 tsp thyme
  • ¼ cup fresh basil
  • 1-2 tbsp water
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, combine all ingredients except water, thyme, and basil.
  2. Purée until smooth, gradually adding water as desired to thin dip and scraping down sides of bowl as needed.
  3. Add thyme and basil and purée briefly to incorporate ingredients.
